How the work is funded
The Institute accepts no vendor sponsorship. No sponsorships, no paid placements, no affiliate commissions, no vendor equity, no referral fees. Revenue comes from book sales, toolkit and platform licences, and advisory engagements paid for by provider organisations — the people the work is written for.
That matters for a specific reason. When a chapter says a category is not ready, or an assessment recommends against a purchase, there is nothing on the other side of the scale. That is the entire value of an independent reference, and it is why we say it in public.
How the work is made
Everything the Institute publishes runs through one editorial system: sourcing rules, review dates on every page, inference labelled as inference, and an automated pre-flight gate that blocks release on structural defects. Who writes it
The Institute's guidance is written and reviewed against a published editorial standard by a physician-executive whose career has spanned three national healthcare systems. The Institute is deliberately small and independent: the judgment is human and accountable, the production system is engineered, and neither is outsourced. It is published under the Institute's name rather than any individual's.
